How to add music to your page 2023

I feel like I have officially tried everything, and this is the only thing I have found to actually work.
1. Go on Tumblr
2. Search for the song you want and hope that someone has uploaded it as an mp3 not a video embed. I would not recommend uploading it yourself but to each their own
3. Right click on the mp3 player and click "View page source"
4. Hit ctrl+f and search for the word mp3 or the word tumblr, basically you are looking for something that looks like "tumblr_gibberishgibberish.mp3"
5. Copy ONLY that part of the code
6. Paste it into this URL: "https://a.tumblr.com/ .mp3" where your copied code will go into that blank space. so https://a.tumblr.com/tumblr_gibberishgibberish.mp3. The link ending in .mp3 is crucial and if your link doesn't, one of the steps has gone wrong
7. Add it to the page music box!
8. Don't be a silly goose like me, unmute your tab after clicking save to be sure it worked

- hi! i figured out another way if the view page source method doesn't work. (bc it didnt for me when i was uploading an mp3 to test for when i soon have a page revamp and want a fresher playlist)
first thing though, a very crucial part is that you MUST have a tumblr theme that doesn't have the purple mp3 player. easier said than done, ofc, but it might send you on a fun lil side quest of finding a cute tumblr theme and decorating it for the funsies. anyways
1 - upload an mp3 on tumblr, i've used https://tubemp3.to/ (if the link doesnt work, please let me know! ill find a working link or if the site is shut down, i can find a similar one.)
2 - go to your tumblr page, and look for the mp3 you have posted.
2.1 - if you have posted the mp3 privately, look to your sidebar on the left, hover over the account and look for your blog in the dropdown, click it and it should show up. in your posts, by your username there should be 3 dots. click it, click copy link, and paste it to another tab. it should be https://yoururl.tumblr.com/private/randomgibberish
3 - there should be 3 dots on the right of the mp3 player, right click it and click "open audio in new tab"
4 - there should be a black page with just the mp3 player, and the url should be https://64.media.tumblr.com/blahblahblahrandomstuffgo.mp3 . you have succeeded!
5 - add it to your page's music box like so
6 - please dont be like a silly goose like me too and have your entire computer muted so you wouldn't get jumpscared and wonder why the music is not playing. lol

- another way: use kh insider! https://downloads.khinsider.com/
1. find your song
2. click on the song name
3. right click & then click "save audio as..."
4. plug it into your music box
