Fly with you, fellow fairy! I recently made a pen-and-paper solo journaling roleplaying/writing prompt game partially inspired by my time playing Pixie Hollow and its descendants, and now I’m thinking about expanding it to include different types of adventures. “Fairy Tales,” I’m thinking of calling them, although maybe that’s confusing since they’re not, y’know, fairy tales (though I already know many will be based off of them!). I’ve already brainstormed a doc full of possible storylines, but I’m just wondering what kinds of narratives you enjoy most while playing as a fairy? Do you like the idea of interacting with humans? Saving the day for your domain (plants, animals, etc.)? Interacting with other magical beings like merfolk or trolls or garden gnomes brought to life? While playing FairyABC, do you imagine you’re doing quests for Tink, Sil, Fawn, Ro, Dessa, etc., and if so, what are they? I’d be so grateful for any thoughts you might have on what you like to imagine doing as a fairy! - Iris Wondersky, Light Talent (aka me, a Storytelling Talent!) PS. If you want, you can take the quiz to see what kind of fairy you are in my world! It’s 100% free and you don’t need to enter an email or anything to see your results.
