I was on a roll with points. Yesterday I worked so hard and only had 160 something credits left to do! But all of a sudden, I log in to only see my progress is either not saved, or gone!

( Im so sad! Please help!!

It might be a glitch in the system. I have seen this happen before -- twice.
You should contact Lady Su about it. If you have a screenshot taken before you lost the credits and a screenshot of what you have now, send them to her and explain the situation.
That way, she can give you back what you lost.

Did you recently buy a pet? In the past that has been the reason for the decline progress.
