Entering Havendish Square pink, white and red decorations hung everywhere

In the treetops, across the benches, even on the boats in the pond.

Valentine is in the air, and the Friendship Festival is about to begin.

From the white and pink ribbons in the trees, and roses growing on the ground

Love and friendship is all around, and flowers given to friends.

When adding a new friend, a badge, may also be given by the Minister of Spring.

This time of year is grand for all, enjoying all there is to be thankful for

Friendships, flowers, even spring itself.
