In Memory of Dawn Wells . . . .

(I discovered this a couple hours ago, and I was shocked silent when I did.)
On Wednesday, December 30TH, 2020, only a few days ago, actress Dawn Wells passed away at the age of 82.

She was best known for playing Mary Ann Summers on the 1960s situational-comedy show, "Gilligan's Island".  She reprised her role for the reunion movies, "Rescue From Gilligan's Island (1978)", "The Castaways On Gilligan's Island (1979)", and "The Harlem Globetrotters On Gilligan's Island (1981)".  She later voiced both Mary Ann Summers & movie star Ginger Grant for the original show's animated spinoff's spinoff, "Gilligan's Planet".

I was deeply saddened upon receiving this news, especially since she was the second-to-last surviving cast member to leave our world.  Now all we have left of the show's original cast is Tina Louise (Ginger Grant, "The Movie Star").  For those of us who fell in love with this classic comedy television show, may we all remember the people who helped bring it to life.

I think I vaguely remember Gilligan's Island, but that was back when I was still in school I last remember seeing it.
