2018 Award Badges??

So, I noticed how there have been badges presented to players for 2016 and 2017 events.Yet, there have been ZERO badges pertaining to 2018 events given out.
Why is that? Is it because some of the staff members (i.e., administrators) have not been as active so far this year? Or is there another reason?
