For everyone who take screenshots, please save as jpg instead of png

I have noticed most of us upload screenshots as png files, this is not good for the forum. because png files are always very large.
if you save as jpg instead of png, the file will be maybe 70%~85% smaller, this saves a lot of memory for  the forum.  lets save memory for fairyabc together
Bellow are examples of an image in different formats, both resolution are 221px*232px, you can tell how much memory had saved.

png file 150kb

png file, resolution:221px*232px filesize:150kb

jpeg file 16 kb

jpeg file, resolution:221px*232px filesize:16kb

So how do we  change the format?
for windows computer it is pretty simple. when you save your screenshots, there will be a file type option, choose jpg instead of png.
if you have mac computer or if the image is saved to png already, you can Open it wih any of your picture/image viewer software( Windows Painter, Mac Preview, etc) then you can save it as jpg.( file > save as, on Windows, Export on Mac)

Is there any way to convert the files on all the threads that have the png file to a jpg file?

Thing is, many Screenshots would still have a somehow same size if it's on .jpg (like 1.7 MB would be 1.5 MB something like that) but there's a way for it to have a huge difference on a smaller size.

Like what I do I use Photoshop I Save File>Save for Web so images can be in KB or at most 1.5 MB of files.

For those not using photoshop, you can probably decreases image size in any other software.

I've literally never saved a picture for web via Photoshop - good tip I'll try it sometimes Karmie Chan thanks.
