And now, a poem of Autumn.

Seems the October air

Fills me with care
That pumpkin spice
Is supposed to be nice
And filled with pumpkin flair.

But Autumn in October is in the North
And with warn colours we go forth
While in the South October feels like spring
Which some still find surprising
Either way, we still find warmth.

But what exactly makes pumpkin spice
And why does it smell so nice?
Do we use pumpkin essence
And colour it quintessence
Or bake into a pie and offer a slice?

Ah, the proverbial machinery
Of nature compiling the scenery
Why try to reason
The change of the season
Resulting in the adjustments of the greenery?

Still, I wonder if any trees don vermillion
Among the foliage Antillean?
To my eyes
The number of leaves seems insurmountably high
Easily numbering more than a billion!

Here's to Autumn and all it's colourful glory
Along with several a heartwarming allegory
But poems are nice too
And some feel true
But I'm sure each one can tell a story.

Hope you enjoyed this poem.
