Pie's 7th Anniversary Message
Pine Stareye is seven years old today... The fact that the time for his anniversary is here again is unreal to me. It really felt like this year flew on by. Pie is probably now as old as I was when I first discovered Pixie Hollow Online, which is an insane thing to think about.
I do wish that I could say that this year was nothing but flitterific, but that would be a lie. There were a few things that happened on the Mainland that wasn't exactly on my 2024 bingo card, and there were some tough times. It really gives someone a second thought about appreciating what you have in the moment. There's been so many ups and downs, especially over the past couple of months, but I'm glad to say I'm somewhat relatively in an up moment right now.
But these messages aren't supposed to be all about the bad, there has been a lot of improvement this past year for me as well! I mentioned in a previous anniversary message about being at a low point of my life a couple of years ago, and compared to back then I am definitely doing much much better, slowly but surely. I've also made a big change in my art style since last December that I am really pleased with! I've learned about new perspectives and concepts that I can incorporate into my art like I haven't before. I really hope I can look back at my art in another year and think I've improved a lot more as well!
Finally, FairyABC really is a magical place for me – I've probably already made that apparent though. I have never felt like I belonged more somewhere in my entire life than in this community, so here is my yearly thanks for tolerating me and plaid and green shenanigans over the past year, lol. My friends at FairyABC is one of the highlights of my life, and each and every one of its lovely community members will live in my heart forever. Here's to another year of flitterific bonding and fun times! <3
