What Happened? 2.0 vs 1.0 ??

I just tried to get back on to the fairy I had made and it made me create a whole new one and play on what I assume was 2.0 with no other option. And I couldn't enter any shops, the tea room, anything... Am I doing something wrong?

When you are at the game entry screen after clicking the pixie hollow button,
there will be a black bar at the top which includes a link to game 1.0.
