Clover gathered ingredients from all across the Spring Meadows to brew a few vials of Boggy Sniffles Serum.

She packed her satchel with a few vials, and her field journal.

Then, with a dash of pixie dust and a flutter of her wings, she set off for the Bubbly Bog.

As soon as she entered the bog, Clover was hit by the sour smell and bubbling sound of the green water below. 

Patches of earth drifted slowly past, like islands adrift. 

The dark damp air felt humid and suffocating as she ventured deeper into the wilderness.

A quick flash across the surface of the water caught her attention. 

She spotted a dragonfly, laying its eggs in the bubbling water below. 

“How curious!” she thought to herself, noting its peculiar behavior. 

Usually, dragonflies opted for freshwater habitats. 

So why weren’t they laying their eggs in the Spring Meadow streams?

Then Clover’s face fell as she started counting the little eggs. 

There were few and far between. A single batch contained roughly 20 eggs. 

Their numbers should be closer to the hundreds or thousands! Something was very wrong indeed.

Clover scribbled in her journal furiously as she decided she would report this to the Queen ASAP!
