I hope this is allowed because I really need to write this short note.
Today was a terrible day for y husband and myself. Eighteen years ago
my husband saved a tiny 5 week old kitten that someone threw over a fence.
My husband worked in groceries and a Coke a cola truck was making a delivery
and my husband ran out in front of the truck to stop it because a tiny kitten was
in it's path and was going to be run over. My husband picked up the kitten and
called me. He says we will find a home for it when it gets a little bigger, I let out
the biggest laugh and hubby says why are you laughing? I told him "You know if
you bring the kitten here, it's not leaving." That is exactly what happened.
We named that Flame Point kitten Whisper. He is 18 years old and he has kidney
disease and high blood pressure so we have medication for him. Today was
his checkup and we found out he developed cancer in his spleen, his liver and
his blood. So we had to make the heartbreaking decision to send him over the
Rainbow Bridge. My husband and I are heartbroken. It is a very sad day in our lives.
I will probably not be at the FCF tomorrow night as I would not be good company.
