Tea Time #1

Hello!
My space was feeling a bit barren so I decided to write a blog. Since I am a tea-making talent I figured it only fitting that my first blog be about---
whoa tea!! Okay then, I'll start with something light. My sister isn't a big tea drinker, but she saw how often I was experimenting and asked me if I could come up with something I thought even she might like. This tea is floral, sweet and very smooth. It's not too strong or bitterly pungent like a ginger or pure black tea might be so if you're sensitive to things like that, I might recommend this for you.

Ingredients:
-dried lavender buds
-dried orange peel
-dried strawberry dust
-dried apples
-cinnamon sticks
-dried rose petals (please do not use store-bought roses as they have been treated with pesticides; if you know a florist that sells organic roses or you grow your own, then use those)
-vanilla coconut tea of life (as a base)

Preparation:
-take your vanilla coconut tea of life out of their bags and pour into your bowl
-combine lavender, dried orange peel, strawberry dust, dried apples, and roses in a bowl
-peel your cinnamon sticks into strips and break into centimeter pieces (be careful not to poke yourself. if you're not used to peeling bark, boil the sticks, peel while soft, and leave out to dry again). Add the desired amount to your blend and save the rest for later.
-mix everything together and store in a container

Closing:
I charged some snow water recently so I decided to brew my tea using that, but you can make this however you see fit. There are no set guidelines :) As far as purpose and correspondences go: when I first made this for my sister, it was during her midterms so I wanted to prepare something that would provide her energy, concentration (orange peel), and peace of mind (lavender and cinnamon). Well, thank you for reading this; I hope to do more of these in the future!
