I can't believe I almost forgot to write this year's anniversary message. I've been so busy on the Mainland lately that it just didn't cross my mind until just now. Good thing I remembered at all, otherwise I would've broken my 4-year streak!
I'm not going to beat around the bush when I say that this year was definitely hard for FairyABC, especially with the loss of a truly dear friend of ours. I'm not very good with words on topics like these – or understanding my feelings sometimes – but I still think about Abi frequently. It's kind of strange, but for some reason it doesn't feel like Abi is truly gone. Perhaps her influence on FairyABC will forever live on, no matter how long. Either that or I'm crazy, however I'd like to think of the former being the case, lol.
FairyABC also had its good share of milestones that happened this year too. Between all the stunning out-of-this-world events, the creative forum contests held, the introduction of FairyABC clubs, finally meeting a fairy friend in real life, and even the long-awaited update to the beloved game itself, FairyABC is really entering its renaissance era. I'm also extremely grateful I was given the opportunity to provide my artistic skills into the game, too. It makes me really happy every single time I see fairies wear the hairstyles I redesigned. I can't wait to finish the remaining hairstyles and come up with even more ideas!
All of this, the good and bad, makes me thankful I decided to create Pine Stareye eight years ago. I don't know where I would be now if I hadn't. I look forward to flying with you all again next year! Let's cherish the flitterific memories and stand strong through the bad times together once more, pixie pals. <3
