One and Only
Summer is coming up soon, so I would like to add a little life and humour into my poetry! Don't mind the plot twist at the end, I lowkey love Japanese culture!☆Hearts palpitating
Deep inside my chest.
Sun shining
High in the sky.
Sweat drips, can pops,
Glossed lips, crop tops.
So much to keep up,
Summer trends make me wanna belly flop.
Feet in the sands with my sunscreen lotion,
Watching the waves move in motion
Keeping the beat with Britney Spears
Beating the heat with root beers!
Laughters around, with friends and myself
Nothing else beats summer itself.
But one thing's for sure, I have an obsession
So now it's time for a confession.
Cuz' my stomach's growling
And my mouth is drooling,
To make it quick, you're my one and only
Delicious, yummy yakitori.
Yakitori is something like a kebab, with its own exotic flavors. Just thinking about it makes me wanna grow a pair of wings and fly off to Japan to where I can finally indulge in my obsession!
