Light

Sun, Moon, Stars above

Never let them fade

Gather Darkness in a glove

And with light, make a trade.

Fireflies, they flutter

Upon wings familiar, true

So clear out the night’s clutter

And let the sky shine blue

The soft glow of the pixie dust

Is comforting and right

But bring around the sun, you must

To empty out the night.

Softly gleaming candles

Quiet glowing lamps

Both, you shall now handle

For happiness of camp.

We thank you for your service

And all the good you’ve shared

You’ve kept us from state of nervous

For in the dark, you dared.
