What was your favorite children's TV channel?
I'm not sure about you, but when I was little, I watched A LOT of TV. I'm surprised I don't anymore. But anyway, what was your favorite children's TV channel? Also: Do you remember When Nick Jr. was Noggin, or the time before Hub? I sure do. :)
My favorites are Sprout and Qubo, even though I only watched Qubo twice because I could never remember the channel number. A funny story is that my parents didn't want to pay extra for BabyFirst because I was like 3, but every year on Mother's Day DirectTV would make the channel free to everyone so I would always binge-watch it every year until 2012 when we moved and didn't have DirectTV. My favorite show on Sprout, in case you didn't know already, was Caillou.
Hmmm. The only thing I like on Nick Jr is Paw Patrol (lol), so I'm gonna go with Disney Junior. I don't know what the other channels are tbh. I don't watch much TV :p
And they aren't my "was" favorite kids channel. They're still my favorite kids shows/channel. XD I like little kid stuff. Treehouse was my jam. (I'm pretty sure it's only canadian?) I'd just watch Blue's Clues,
Wiggles, Teletubbies, ect. That nostalgia *o* ::singing:: Disney Junior, though back in MY day it was called Playhouse Disney. I even remember the day they changed it.
Y'all young. I remember when it was Playhouse Disney too. I loved those shows. I also loved the shows on Noggin. I loved shows on all of them, but I've never heard of BabyFirst... Nick Jr. when it was the 90's and early 2000's was the best. I never had Disney channel growing up, so I'm kind of in the dark about all of the old shows and such. Twimidna replied at 2017-10-8 22:42

I agree with that. I could only pick one, but then right after I had a memory blast.
Back in Peru, I'd watch Playhouse Disney if I got up early enough on the weekends, but that wasn't the case usually. Therefore, my main to-go channels were Nick Jr. and Cartoon Network (I know, I know {:m_s22:}). Every morning I'd wake up to the Team Umizoomi theme song, but that meant I had to go to school : ))))))), but I'd also watch Dora the Explorer and Go, Diego, Go! SO MUCHH (favorite shows when I was little, Dora was my role model).
When I moved here, I was intrigued by all of the different children's TV channels, but only stuck to Nick JR, PBS Kids, and Disney Junior. I remember one day Nick Jr. was going through maintenance but kept the channel up with the same Moose and Zee animations saying, 'We'll be right back :)' or something and it TRIGGERED ME SO MUCH LIKE I WAS GUESSING THAT RIGHT AFTER ZEE LEFT THE CHANNEL WOULD SWITCH BACK TO NORMAL BUT NOOOOOOOOOO. When I'd go to my aunt's apartment in MA, I would go to PBS Kids - pretty fun time :D. And how could I forget Disney Junior (AKA still Playhouse) I watched it every day but became very disappointed when the channel became Disney Junior, since it became a separate channel all on its own.
And we didn't have it. So it did away with my Playhouse Disney/Disney Junior love. Let me just say, when I was young, I WATCHED SO MUCH MICKEY MOUSE CLUBHOUSE! IT WAS LIKE MY LIFE! (also, High School Musical<----IDK why) I also (and I still do) watched My Little Pony. I still watch these shows. They are very interesting and CUTE! :P
