How Strong are Ants?

Have you ever seen an ant move anything larger than itself with your own eyes? I remember two years ago seeing a couple ants moving bits of food that fell on a sidewalk while at a special outdoor event and decided to record it, but only for rememberance sakes. Also, I thought ants were herbivores? Anyway, ants are very strong and said to carry about 50 of themselves easily!
