On November 30TH, 2017, the beloved actor, Jim Nabors, passed away at the age of 87. He was best known for playing Gomer Pyle on "The Andy Griffith Show" and its spin-off, "Gomer Pyle: USMC".

This announcement is heartbreaking for me and my Mom for we loved that actor's work in those shows.
Are any of you very familiar with Gomer Pyle or any other characters Jim Nabors played over the years?
