Save it, and then head over to lunapic.com. once you've uploaded your image, go to the edit tab and click "Transparent Background."
Click any white part of the image, and then adjust the transparency any number you want (I did 50, but I don't think it matters) and then click save.
Now, open FireAlpaca and open up the downloaded image into the painter. Then, check the Protect Alpha option for the layer, located in the Navigator:
Now that you've done that, choose the Pen and make it 1000 (unless you want a spend a long time doing the next step!) in thickness.
Then, go over the entire canvas with the brush. You may notice that the lineart thickens a bit. This is what makes the filling in much cleaner looking.
Once you've done that, you can now fill it in easily! I tend to make a separate layer for filling (put under the lineart layer), expand the filling by 2 pixels, and do it that way. It comes out much nicer than doing it all in one layer. The finished picture may look a little like this!
Just a little something I drew for my friend(s). Hope this helps you! You can use this method on ANY white-background base!
Well, that's all for now! Have a great day!
Fly with you!
